Museum staff are pleased to announce the museum reopening on Wednesday, August 12th. From Wednesday to Saturday each week, the museum will be offering private tours – visit the site today to book your preferred time.
The museum will continue to bring you a variety of Learn From Home options at townofws.ca/museum. Visit L4A.ca to view the virtual exhibit, Archaeology Alive: The Jean-Baptiste Lainé Site in Whitchurch-Stouffville. You will also find regular posts from the Museum on @WSMuseum on Facebook – posts include historic photos and local stories. Art in the Park, 2020 needed to be cancelled but we didn’t want that to stop you from seeing some of the amazing artists that would have been there! Artist Showcase introduces you to some of the artists and gives you access to their sites where you can view and even purchase their work! We’re bringing Art in the Park into your home, for 2020! Getting enough activity can be difficult while engaging in physical distancing. The virtual Activity Calendar, developed by the Town’s Recreational staff, will provide you and your family with virtual activities to stay active and engaged. Stouffville Country Ribfest is coming to you in an amended format this year: Drive-Thru. Two of your favourite Rib teams are returning to deliver this annual event. The new set-up will reduce contact and will give everyone a safe way to get the highly anticipated championship ribs with award winning BBQ sauces! Registration for the event is now open!
